Partnership enables PLEXTALK® Pocket users to access RFB &D's library of academic textbooks and literature titles, helping to boost success for students with print disabilities.
Los Angeles, CA - November 16, 2009 -Visually impaired and learning disabled students will gain access to the printed page, thanks to a new partnership between Shinano Kenshi Corporation, makers of the PLEXTALK® Pocket, and Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) ®.
Through this partnership, RFB&D will market and sell the PLEXTALK® Pocket - a lightweight, pocket-sized music, voice, and book player/recorder that offers revolutionary mobility and ease of use. The PLEXTALK® Pocket supports DAISY-formatted audio books, enabling students to access RFB&D's extensive library of more than 56,000 academic textbook and literature titles.
